We will host 6 professionals in the project management space in the Triad for a panel discussion. We expect to hear about successful projects that have recently been completed and discuss trends in the industry from a staffing/training as well as the business owner perspective. 

Panelist include:

James Pappas

James Pappas is Director of Ecommerce at Wrangler Jeans, a VF Corporation brand.  VF Corporation is one of the world’s largest apparel, footwear, and accessories companies. James’ current responsibilities include overseeing marketing and operations of and omnichannel initiatives with Wrangler’s direct-to-consumer touchpoints, including its full priced retail locations.


Prior to joining Wrangler in 2011, James was Director of Electronic Marketing at Extended Stay Hotels, one of North America’s largest long term lodging hotel chains, where he spent four years managing the company’s owned websites.


James hails from Indiana, where he got his start in ecommerce as General Manager of Ecommerce for JL Hufford Coffee and Tea Company, which he joined after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in philosophy. James earned his MBA from Elon’s Love School of Business.

Erica Woods

  Erica Woods is the Manager of Contractor and Community Relations at Apex Systems. Her focus is on overseeing programs, teams, communication channels, and other resources that support and add value to their National IT Contractor Community of 15,000+. Erica also oversees corporate philanthropy efforts and acts as a technical community evangelist.  

She has 12+ years of experience in the IT staffing world and an MBA from Loyola University. She delivers Career Development webcasts and writes articles for Apex and the online technical community, speaks at tech community conferences such as BA World/PM Summit, PMI PDD events and SQL Saturdays, and provides internal and external Team, Attitude, Performance, Career and Hiring Coaching.  

Erica also is a Co-Organizer for the Tampa and Baltimore Tech4Good groups, which are Tech Soup NetSquared groups that bring together technical folks looking for skills-based volunteering opportunities with nonprofits in need of technology help/guidance/troubleshooting.    Publications:
