Presentation Summary: Have you ever wondered what digital transformation might look like through the eyes of a maintenance technician at a power plant? When Duke Energy began its innovation journey in 2018, members of the Fossil-Hydro organization were charged with using human-centered design methodologies to create digital products for use across our fleet. This was a totally new way of working and thinking for everyone from our product team, to our employees, to senior leadership.
Our story picks up in 2019, when we encounter various adoption challenges across our portfolio of five digital products. We’ll talk about how change management and product management partnered to drive adoption across our portfolio of digital products, and some of our lessons learned along the way.
