Chapter Meeting: AI Can Help You Think. It Can’t Help You Understand. (Part 1) Session 1/3
Project managers are entering an era where AI can generate plans, summarize meetings, write documentation, and automate workflows in seconds. But while AI dramatically accelerates thinking and execution, it still depends on human judgment, context, and leadership to create meaningful outcomes.
This hands-on workshop introduces project managers to practical AI workflows using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, and modern automation platforms. Participants will learn how to use AI as a force multiplier without becoming overly dependent on it.
The session focuses on a critical distinction: AI can assist with processing information, but project managers must still provide understanding, strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.
By the end, participants will:
- Understand the difference between AI-assisted thinking and human understanding
- Learn practical prompting frameworks for project management tasks
- Use AI tools to accelerate planning, communication, and documentation
- Explore how tools like Claude and Lovable can rapidly prototype workflows and systems
- Build at least 2 practical AI-assisted outputs they can use immediately
