Communications: The Grease That Lubricates the Gears, or the Sand That Gums Them Up?

Jim Benvie, PMP
PMI’s 2013 Pulse of the Profession Report declared that “the most crucial success factor in project management is effective communications to all stakeholders”.

Despite the many changes and developments in the last decade that statement still holds true.

Through a series of historical and personal stories, some tragic, some humorous, Jim will illustrate key elements of communication or lack of it.

This presentation will challenge the way you think about delivering and receiving communications.

How to Harness the Power of Agile Change, While Keeping Your Team Sane

Ryland Leyton, CBAP, PMP, CSM, SA4

Agile tells you that we harness the power of change to create customer value but doesn't say how we do it.  Too often, that leaves sponsors, product owners, and project teams out on a limb.  In this 20-minute session we'll cover how to keep your customer and team sane & happy through using good PMBOK and Agile techniques at the same time!
