Project Management is used in all industries among a variety of areas within companies.   Join us for a Panel Discussion on April 10th with leaders of Project Managers from a variety of industries sharing their experiences and knowledge of the project management landscape.

Meet Our Panelists:

Joe Baleno became a PMP in 1996. His educational background includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. His thirty year career started as a manufacturing engineer on classified Navy projects and quickly evolved into project management, culminating as the Director of Project Management, Operations and Business Development at Bell Laboratories for North America. His projects spanned the areas of research, development, manufacturing and installation/deployment in both commercial and government environments and ranged in size from $50K to $1B.
James (Jim) Hoeger, PhD, PE, PMP is Engineering Manager for Evonik Corporation, a world-leading specialty chemicals company.  Jim has 25 years of experience in project and portfolio management, and over 35 years of experience in the chemical processing industry.  In his current position he leads a small project management group for Evonik’s Baby Care business line. 

Stacey Romano, PMP is the Associate Vice President of Corporate Systems at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Stacey graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Old Dominion University and is currently completing a Master’s of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. Her position includes Electronic Medical Record, Corporate Revenue Cycle, Finance and Data Integration system accountabilities.  She joined Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 1994 as a programmer analyst and has held a number of leadership positions over the most recent 11 years in the information technology department.  Stacey has been instrumental in leading projects for the WakeOne  Upgrade, Healthshare Interface Engine replacement, yearly LeapFrog testing and other large ITS projects. 


Michael Rimmey, is the Director of IT Governance and Compliance for ITG Brands, LLC.  He is responsible for optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT while providing the necessary process and controls to meet all audit and regulatory commitments.  He has direct accountability for the ITG Brands Project Management Office (PMO), IT Quality Assurance, Service Delivery, IT Security, IT Compliance, Corporate Records Management, Internal Audit, and Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Testing.  Michael is a proven leader with a passion for visionary optimism and continuous improvement.
